Prague is full of beautiful parks and surrounded by stunning countryside perfect for walking, cycling or lazing in. There are many outdoor activities and sports that can be undertaken in green areas of Prague.

Unfortunately the Czech Republic is lacking in golf courses and Prague has only 18-hole course, although top Prague hotels may be able to arrange access, if given enough advance warning. Golf Club Prague, Plzeòská, Prague 5, is a nine-hole course and driving range available for tourists and all people wishing to play golf.

Other sport which you can make in green areas of Prague is biking. In the Czech Republic it has become extremely popular since the fall of the Communist regime. Rolling terrain and pleasant climate, the big amount of biking trails, low-traffic country roads, all make Czech Republic an ideal biking destination. Czechs are really passionate bikers.

You can even find the quad biking trails which have been carefully woven through this wilderness, giving participants the best possible experience through rough forest, up steep hills and down into valleys. Quad Biking certainly gives adrenaline and extreme feelings. Just imagine jumping on one of powerful quad bikes, thrills and mud, racing some excellent off road courses in the heart of the Bohemian countryside, what can be better?

There is a good opportunity for cycling in Prague. Currently there are 185km of marked cycle paths in Prague. About 63km of these marked cycle paths are roads in parks reserved for cyclists and hikers, orchards and also newly constructed independent roads for cyclists and pedestrians. The system of cycle paths is supposed to reach 450 km long in Prague.

If you really love nature, the animals and especially horses, you will enjoy seeing the Prague’s surroundings from the back of the horse. While riding through forests and nice villages near Prague, you will enjoy the picturesque countryside and nice view of nature.
